A Little History #
I published my first post on Medium on Jul 17, 2021, around the same time I started building this website. Back then, I had a blurred intention: Medium would be for code-heavy, data science posts, and this site would be for everything else – book notes, sketchnotes, year reviews, and random reflections.
For a while, that split made sense. Medium had a cleaner writing experience for code snippets, and I wanted to keep this corner of the internet feeling more personal. I even tried mirroring some Medium posts here, but the rendering was never quite right under WordPress, and maintaining two copies became tedious.
Fast forward to 2026 – I’ve migrated this site from WordPress to Hugo, and a lot has changed. Hugo handles code beautifully. More importantly, my own thinking has evolved: I no longer want to split myself across platforms by topic. This website is now my little corner for everything I do – coding, writing, YouTube, astronomy, music, and whatever curiosity strikes next.
So going forward, new posts will live here first. But the Medium archive remains, and those posts still represent some of my favorite technical deep-dives. Below is the full collection.
