This is a living document — a running list of new things I tried in 2026. Some big, some small, all new to me. I’ll keep updating this throughout the year.

First time trying archery! One of the most interesting and surprising things I learned: it’s not your dominant hand that matters most — it’s your dominant eye.
I’m right-handed, so I thought I should wear an arm protector on the arm that holds the bow (my left arm) — while my right arm pulls back the string. But the first two shots, I closed my right eye. Then they gave me a special one-eyed sunglasses to cover my left eye, which led to much better aiming.
I don’t know how many people know which eye is their dominant eye, I certainly don’t. It also led me to thinking — which leg is my dominant leg? I have two lungs, do I also have a dominant lung? How many things I don’t know about my body…
